Holbeton is a beautiful, unspoilt and
picturesque village, often a film location (International
Velvet, Sense & Sensibility, Rebecca etc.) with a delightful mix
of small thatched and slate cottages – good pub, bistro, village
post office/stores (fresh croissants every day) and church –
quietly set ¾ mile from the River Erme’s beautiful wooded
estuary and Mothecombe’s excellent sandy beach.
